What does a day of an LGT Impact Fellow look like?

Fellows of the LGT Impact Fellowship 2019 cohort are approaching the last months of their 1-year engagements. By now the Fellows have fully immersed in their roles at host organizations across Kenya, South Africa, Malawi, India and the Philippines. Are you wondering what they actually do? Which communities they are serving? Or simply, if they are having coffee before starting the day and how they commute to work? With the following video impressions they are sharing some insights into their Fellowships.

LGT Impact Fellow Saumya @ Varthana, India:

Saumya is a Management Consultant at Varthana in India, where he closely works with leaders of affordable schools. In his video he tells us how his days as an LGT Impact Fellow at Varthana look like: different days, different versions of the Fellowship!

LGT Impact Fellow Steve @ mothers2mothers, South Africa:

Steve is the Strategic Liaison to the CEO of mothers2mothers in South Africa. During his LGT Impact Fellowship he helped identify new revenue sources, analyse management processes, support Board of Directors’ outreach efforts, devise creative communication programming and scope m2m’s expansion into new African countries.

LGT Impact Fellow Nduta @ MMWCA, Kenya:

Nduta is an LGT Impact Fellow at the Maasai Mara Wildlife Conversancy Association in Kenya, where she manages various community projects. In her video she shares impressions from her daily activities working with communities in the Maasai Mara.

LGT Impact Fellow Tracey @ Aangan Trust, India:

In her LGT Impact Fellowship Tracey works as a Management Consultant at Aangan Trust in Mumbai, India, where she is driving strategies to scale the organization’s impact through technology as well as help explore, define and build partnerships.

LGT Impact Fellow Diana @ mothers2mothers, Malawi:

Diana works as Community Health Manager at mothers2mothers in Malawi. She leads innovation projects to improve Human Resources and strategic processes. Learn more about her LGT Impact Fellowship experience in her video.
